How it works
Position is where you act in the betting order. The button is best (most information); under the gun is worst. Play tighter early, wider late, steal more from the button.
Betting pattern
Early: strong hands only. Middle: add medium hands. Cutoff/button: widest profitable range. Blinds: defend carefully—you act early post-flop.
Bankroll / drawdown risk
Good position play cuts unnecessary losses by avoiding tough spots out of position.
